Drawing on the heritage and discipline of our Savile Row training and history, we combine a contemporary vision with our skilled craftsmanship to offer a truly bespoke service.

Kathryn Sargent is proud to be the world's first female master Tailor, with 30 years of experience at the highest level of the craft. Trained on Savile Row, she completed her apprenticeship at Gieves & Hawkes before becoming Head Cutter, the first woman in the history of Savile Row to hold this position. She honed her skills over two decades before becoming the first woman to open her own tailoring house on Savile Row.

15 years ago, Kathryn established her eponymous tailoring house, now located at both No. 21 Ryder Street in London’s prestigious St James’s, the home of luxury menswear in London, and at 19B Howe Street in Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town, where Kathryn and her team continue to help define the next era of bespoke tailoring. While her skills are rooted in the history and tradition of the trade, Kathryn’s vision is firmly focused on the contemporary and garments that work for the modern world.

Breaking with tradition, we offer tailoring for all genders, focusing on the individual requirements and personality of each client rather than a fixed house style.  Returning to the true spirit of bespoke, where the client expresses their requrements to the cutter, who absorbs and interprets them.  Bringing this into a 21st Century execution has been Kathryn's joy.

Our work honours the exacting standards of hand-cut, hand-sewn bespoke tailoring, yet we bring this heritage forward with a modern sensibility, dressing clients who value both the time-less craftmanship and clothes that reflect who they are now.
